E-LAN or Ethernet Virtual Private LAN (EVP-LAN) is a MultiPoint-to-MultiPoint Ethernet Virtual Connection defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum — a Carrier Ethernet equivalent of Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) or Transparent LAN Services.
Other types of Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) defined for Carrier Ethernet networking are the E-Line and E-Tree.
